In The Neighborhood

Sunflower at sunset.

The weeds behind the house are 5 feet tall.  I couldn't see the farm behind the house until they got a trim.

The weeds were too much for the tractor.  It died after a few passes.

Bees trying to cool off in our June heat.

The old girls keeping an eye on the teenagers.

I hadn't noticed they had chopped all that tall grass back there.

Your phone takes pretty decent pictures, I'm surprised.

What a fabulous blog! We're practically neighbors :) And WHAT are those weeds? We have them all over the place, ours are 8-9' tall!

I don't know what they are Crystal, but I do live close the the extension service. I ought to take one in and find out.

Hope the tractor is back in service. That is a big job cutting everything back. I think the old girls would like to be out with the teenagers having fun in the grass. Pretty chickens.

Good pictures!
Everything and everybody around here trying to find a cool spot like the bees!

The chickens look great.
Have a wonderful day.

The weeds have to go, don't want a place for snakes to hide.

Why in the world would anyone chop down an orange grove? One would think they would have left a few trees for individual use.
