This is the time of the year when Florida provides produce for the rest of the country. Oranges and strawberries are leaving the groves and fields and making their way to your kitchen tables. Yesterday there must have been 50 workers in the strawberry field behind my house.
There is great urgency to get produce to market now. We are expecting another freeze Monday. It looks like it is going to be a rough winter for the local farmers.
