New Cotton Patch Line

A friend sent some Cotton Patch eggs from her line.  They hatched May 24, 2016.  They are from different pens, so they will add some much needed diversity to my geese.

The Embden Goslings Hatch

Fred and Ethel hatched 4 goslings.  Unfortunately one was lost the first day out of the nest, so the remaining three goslings are now brooder babies.

American Buff and Pomeranian Geese Hatch

An egg broke in the nest, so I moved the remaining eggs to the incubator after washing.  I wasn't sure they would make it, but they did fine.  There are a couple of mystery goslings due to an elicit affair by a couple of geese, and some American Buffs and Gray Saddleback Pomeranians. Hatched April 13, 2016.

Cotton Patch Goslings Have Hatched

This year's hatch of Cotton Patch goslings is complete.  Eva and Eddie had 4 girls and 2 boys this year.  I love being able to sex the goslings at hatch.  All goslings appear to be healthy.

Buff Saddleback Pomeranians Hatch

The Buff Saddleback Pomeranians from my friend Rhonda Silva hatched today.
